Freeview installation & missing channel fixes in Kent

Missing channels, pixelation, or a fresh Freeview install — we find the real cause with a signal meter rather than telling you to retune again and hope.

Channels restored

Kent-wide service

Retuning does not fix a signal problem — it just hides it for a while

If channels vanish after a retune, the multiplex carrying them was too weak for your tuner to lock. That is a signal issue at the aerial, the cable or the amplifier, and no amount of retuning will fix it permanently.

We measure signal strength, quality and bit error rate on each multiplex at your TV point. That tells us instantly whether the fault is the aerial group, a splitter starving the outlets, an amplifier that has failed, or interference from a nearby 4G/5G mast — an increasingly common cause across the Medway towns and Thanet.

Where the fix is a filter or a re-terminated connector, that is what we charge for. Where the aerial genuinely needs replacing, we tell you exactly why and show you the meter reading.

Anything not covered here, call 01622 619811 and speak to an engineer — not a scripted call handler.

Why have I lost BBC or ITV channels but kept others?

Different channels ride on different multiplexes at different powers. Losing one group points at a marginal signal on that multiplex, not at your television.

Do I need a new aerial for Freeview HD?

Not always. HD services sit on the same multiplexes as the main channels — if the signal quality is there, your existing aerial will work.

Can you get Freeview in a flat with a communal aerial?

Yes, and we can also test and repair the communal system itself if the whole block is affected.

Will a booster fix my pixelation?

Only sometimes. Amplifying a poor-quality signal amplifies the noise too, and under strong transmitters an attenuator is the correct fix.
